Driving 14 hours to Ft. Lauderdale tomorrow to start Super Bowl XLIV Halftime Show Pre-production. More to come …. Going to stop in Palm Beach, FL along the way to attend the 2010 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival competition. I’m ready to leave the cold weather for a few weeks and catch a few rays!

I’m up late writing my creative proposal and bid document for a major Olympic Games styled event to be held in 2010. These O/C Ceremonies are the ’ top of the top ’ for a live event producer. I’ve been working for nearly 25 years to be in a position to be invited to create a show like this. New theatrical lighting technologies are allowing large competition stadiums to become television studio sets, or live production theaters. I’m looking forward to creating a performance backdrop that will incorporate event competition icons/ imagery, theatrical lighting with virtually every color imagineable, live music, dance, and regional art. Wow! I’m living the dream!
Returned to Nashville late last night. What a beautiful afternoon it was at Indianapolis Motor Speedway yesterday — 75 degrees and breezy. It’s always great to work at legendary venues… Nashville artist Megan Linville performed on the Coke Zero Fan Stage in the shadow of the famous Pagoda … I’m proud of Megan for her amazing performances at these sporting venue shows… And, for taking the time to sign about 200 fan autographs after the show…. Looking forward to returning to Indy very soon!

It’s officially Spring! I’m off to the Masters Tournament in Augusta, GA. What hallowed ground Augusta National is !!… Golf’s first Major Championship… I’m also excited about visiting our new friends at MarquisJet…
We’re currently working on creating the talent line-up for the April 30, 2009 show within the In-Field Club at Churchill Downs. We’re considering a variety of very talented emerging artists for the 2009 show. Our 2010 show will feature national headliners..
